Our Goals

The goal of Shalin Hoops is to continue to bring you the most thorough coverage available on players who have been observed. No prospect will be in the report unless they have been personally watched by Shalin Hoops. The information that is included in each report provides prospect strengths and weaknesses, graduation status as available, notation if a transfer, coach’s contact information and other salient points that might be helpful to you in your recruiting efforts.

Shalin Hoops will post reports on the shalinhoops.com website which will allow for new evaluations to be available shortly after a team has been observed. Teams who have been evaluated will be in alphabetical order, and when a client clicks on a particular team, a PDF format of that evaluation will appear.

As an evaluator, it really doesn’t matter about my days as a basketball player, or the quality people I was fortunate to coach with, or even how successful I might have been as a coach. What does matter is this: Can I evaluate talent and determine at which level prospects can play?
