Prayer Request Arena

Welcome to Request Arena, a safe and protected place where our community of two- and four-year college women’s basketball coaches throughout the country can come to share prayer needs they might have.

I have been prompted more than once over the last few years to do this, but it became clear to me to act on that prompting after recently receiving an email from a coaching friend who asked how he might pray for me as well as my wife, who has been experiencing some health issues.

Battles in life are seemingly constant and ongoing, and most of us are either in one today or perhaps will be in one later today, or maybe tomorrow.

Here’s what is encouraging. Our heavenly Father, our Head Coach, has answers for every strategy that the enemy can conjure up and attack us with.

In Jeremiah 33:3, God said this to the prophet: Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things which you do not know.

And then in Matthew 18, verses 19 and 20, Jesus says: Again I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything they ask, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.

The requests that are left here will only be seen by a group of Prayer Partner Assistants who are listed on this page, and who will have password access to those requests.

In placing requests through this page, there are a couple of guidelines that we would ask you to follow.

One would be that you limit your requests to be either personal, or for someone in your immediate family such as wife, husband, or children.

The second guideline is to be sensitive to details you give. Fortunately, we serve an all-knowing God who already knows all the particulars of our needs even before we ask (Matthew 6:8b).
